The beauty of this environment is that you are surrounded by native trees, plants and green-green nature. Tuis can be heard in your quiet moments and across the road the flow of running water. Waiotemarama means water of the moon and this area is steeped in Maori history

I am your host/healer and my name is Jillyan Baldwin. The self contained 2 bedroom accommodation is newly built, so even though the gardens were already established when I moved here in May 2007 the work continues around the new building. My vision is to provide the ultimate potential for people to heal their lives in so many ways, while they enjoy the extensive bounty of the surrounding area of Hokianga.

Master bedroom:

Queen sized bed with quality linen.

Spacious with room to unpack and store your clothes.

Second bedroom:

Bunks or divided into two beds. Here there is room to set up my massage table.


Comfortably furnished and with gas stove, fridge and well stocked kitchen for self catering. You will also find potted herbs near the outdoor furniture. Each person or family will receive a complimentary pot of local manuka honey.


You have a roomy shower with instant gas hot water, a separate toilet and vanity unit. Plenty of towels are supplied.

Other Facilities:
  • For people staying more than three nights I can offer doing their laundry and supplying iron and ironing board for their use
  • When people are convalescing from an illness and need extra supplies, I can offer to do their shopping
  • Nursing care can be available when needed
